Ratafia is made from fresh grape juice and a strong alcohol (called “fine de Champagne”) to obtain a blend equal to 18 degrees of alcohol. This process is called “mutage”.

The palate is smooth and silky bearing the flavors of apricot, fig and prune.

Ratafia is served well chilled as an aperitif. It can also be enjoyed with a sweet scented cantaloupe.
